Sara trained at the University of South Australia, graduating in 2004.
She worked in Australia for many years before heading overseas to work in the United Kingdom for approximately 5 years, before undertaking voluntary work in Kenya.

Our team of highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapists is led by Sara King, Practice owner.
Sara is a passionate Occupational Therapist with over 20 years supporting children and their families in community-based settings in Australia and the United Kingdom.
After several years of working abroad, Sara returned to Australia to start her young family, and in 2019 founded her own practice with a mission to provide holistic, family-centered therapy that empowers not only the children, but also their parents and caregivers.
Throughout her years of practice, Sara began to notice how often parents appeared to feel overwhelmed, isolated or unsure in their roles as they have evolved in the parenting space—especially when navigating their child’s developmental and emotional needs.
As a new mother herself, Sara recognised the significant shift mothers experience as they move from women to mother and this realisation inspired her to expand her knowledge and professional focus to include parental wellbeing.
Sara immersed herself in research and undertook additional training in maternal wellbeing and parental support concepts, including accreditation as an International Coaching Federation (ICF) coach and Mama rising facilitator.
Today, Sara combines her deep knowledge of child development and human emotional connection with professional coaching skills to provide unique, integrated support for families.
